Cliff Persaud

Cliff Persaud is the Founder and CEO of CUBIST STUDIOS. He specializes in providing accessible, standards-compliant web solutions to individuals and small businesses.

With proper instruction, Cliff believes that every student can maximize their learning potential. His teaching philosophy is based upon addressing each student’s needs on an individual basis and completely immersing students in the subject matter.

Instructing at Seneca has allowed Cliff the opportunity to provide technical knowledge, as well as the tools for creative thinking. Tools that are critical for anyone wishing to be a successful Webmaster.

Akil Annamunthodo

Akil Annamunthodo is a web applications developer and consultant who specializes in building secure, database driven web applications.

Working with companies in a wide range of industries has given Akil extensive experience in creating enterprise wide data solutions. As a consultant, Akil advises companies on how to harness the power of the internet and use it to increase the efficiency of their operations.

Akil strives to make website development understandable to students at all levels and believes that with time and dedication anything is possible.

Dr. Peter Paolucci

Peter Paolucci, Phd

Dr. Paolucci is the founder of Learn Canada, and has 32 years teaching experience at York university, and 16 years experience as an IT trainer. In 1995, Peter won the York university-wide award for excellence in teaching and in 2009 he won the Dean's teaching award for the Faculty of Arts (also at York).

He combines the values of a humanist education with exceptionally high levels of technological expertise. He teaches Shakespeare, vampire fiction, and Human Computer Interaction at York University, and also trains programmers and web designers in project management at Seneca College.

He is frequently sought after as a consultant in the use of videoconferencing technologies and he helps organizations to comply with accessibility standards and to design usability testing procedures for their websites.

Derek Allard

Derek Allard, B.E.S. M.Ed

Derek is a programmer, author, and award-winning instructor specializing in Internet technologies. In 1999, he founded Dark Horse Consulting, a business specializing in developing course content and facilitating instruction in Internet Technology.

In 2002, Derek was awarded instructor of the year for Computer Specializations in the Computer Studies program at Seneca College; and in 2004 he won the pretigious Excellence in Teaching award in part-time studies at McMaster University.

He continues to serve as president and principal officer of Dark Horse Consulting, developing services for XML, data delivery, standards compliance, website development, Flash, Dynamic XHTML, JavaScript, and PHP, among others. Derek blogs about web development on his personal site, derekallard.com.

Morris Rosen

Morris Rosen

Morris Rozen is a web designer specializing in content design and search engine technologies. Since 1994, when he designed and built The Houseboating Page, a niche market portal website, Morris has developed a number of skills in having websites marketed.

In 2000, he took and completed the Seneca program and has remained with Seneca as a member of the instructional team. In addition, he founded Webzmaker.com, a professional design studio where he has developed a number of websites and has consulted on search engine optimization strategies for a number of commercial clients.

Diana Maclean

Diana Maclean graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2007 with a Bachelor of Design in Advertising. Diana's passion for all facets of brand identity and graphic design continually lead her towards the challenging area of website design.

After discovering the Webmaster Program at Seneca College, and completing the course in the fall of 2009, her fascination for the interactive media was given a solid platform upon which to grow.

As a recent Webmaster graduate herself, Diana appreciates what students are going through in each module, and can provide patient, encouraging assistance during labs.
